Now it's flooding down south. Hopefully it won't get too bad though.
The clean up here is incredible. People have actually been turned away and asked to come back the next day because places didn't need any more volunteers. Driving around you see what looks like the entire contents of some houses just out on the street, broken and covered in mud. It's so sad. But the damage in the towns the flood hit before it got to Ipswich is a thousand times worse
Can do I live on top on a hill, so I'm alright. I haven't been out and about since yesterday, but I'm pretty sure the water has mostly receded from Ipswich (which is where I live). Thanks for the message, it means a lot to know people think of you, you know. <3
