I'm shooting a short film this month and looking for a producer. Since I don't have any budget, I'm looking for someone who's resourceful. Please PM me if interested. Person has to be local.

You want to shoot this month; December. I'm assuming that the
weeks before and after Christmas are very difficult for people to
drop what they are doing to work for free on a short film. Have
you considered that? That leaves the week of the 10th - five days
away. Five days for a producer to find a location (that you don't
want to mention) for free and a crew willing to work for free.
Just something to consider.

You make an excellent point re: holidays. After consideration, I've decided to shoot 2nd week of January (hopefully on a Saturday)
I need a prison cell location (the character is awaiting execution which is about to go down). Waiting cells are located inside a death house but since most of the film is in the cell, I can do some bit of cheating.
Yes, I do need crew with their equipment. I'm waiting to hear from a DP who might be able to help but still TBD.
The script still needs some tweaking but the short shouldn't be over 12 minutes tops. I plan to direct it.

Not necessarily copious - just enough so a potential producer would
understand your project. It’s a good habit to get into when posting
on messageboards. don't force people to jump through hoops in order
to help you for free.
After I asked my questions I took a look at your posts - found the one
about a prison cell. You’ve had four months to try some of the advice
you received and I take it you have had no luck finding a prison cell for
free and you have not had enough time to save up some money to build
one.
I don’t know of a free prison cell you could use. With a little time and
some money you could cheat a cell as several people (including me)
suggested back in August. I know you said you have zero budget but
you know you need to spend something; if nothing else you will need
to feed your crew. I know I couldn’t convince people with equipment to
shoot for you AND pay for their own food.
I still might be able to help. At least with getting a small crew. Do you
really mean that you cannot spend any money at all? Are you thinking
you can shoot this in one day?
Yeah, I wanted to shoot this a while back but got too busy and just getting around to it now...

OK, I'm gonna own up. The idea of building things scares me off. I'm a girl, what can I say That's NO excuse though
Since I don't have time to raise the funds, I will just withdraw the $500 from my savings and use it as a budget.
My building manager just offered our laundry room. It does have the "cell" feel but will need quite a bit of cheating.
I really want to do this right. I tend to procrastinate but want to get rid of this bad trait and achieve my goal in January.
