The Writers Guild of America Awards is just getting underway at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. This year’s host at the celebration of the best in film, TV, online, and radio writing is “Saturday Night Live” alum Ana Gasteyer.
With a week to go before the Oscars, four Best Original Screenplay nominees are also up for the Writers Guild Award: “1917,” “Knives Out,” “Marriage Story,” and “Parasite.” The WGA swapped the fifth Oscar-nominated script, “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” in favor of a nomination for “Booksmart.”
