I was wondering if anyone knows from 1st hand experience the busiest cities in terms of film production. I read recently that while Los Angeles is still #1 and New York is still #2, they have decreased drastically over the years while other cities have begun to catch up. I found an article stating that in 2003 La had abot 60-70% of the countries filming and in 2007 it was 33%
I've heard that some of the hotbeds are New Orleans, Detroit, and Albuquerque. I also read that New Orleans is actually #3 in the country at the moment.
Does anyone know if any of this is true?
