Which Tripod Video Head?

Hello,

I need to get a general purpose video head. I already have this Manfrotto tripod which I have used for still photography with a small ball head.

I’m willing to spend up to $230


Should I get a flat or half-bowl head?

Will a bowl head even fit this tripod?

What should I be aware of?

What would you recommend?

The 500HD series is a favorite among many. This will fit on that tripod, there is also a 75mm ball head version, but I don't know much about ball heads (since those are photography heads).
