I shoot on a Canon 60D with a 28-70mm f/2.8 lens on it. As a graduation gift I'm going to buy a glidecam, but I don't know whether to get the HD-2000 or 4000. I know the difference is mostly in the weight it can support but is there any difference in the steadiness or the quality of the actual stabilizer?

Which Glidecam for my camera?

From what I have read, having the setup of your weight closer to the maximum weight capacity of your glidecam makes it easier to balance, and hence more steady.
