I'm just getting into film making and I don't know a lot about video cameras and I have a budget of $5000 so I what to know what is the best HD Video Camera for Documentary film making is. Please don't say T2i
 
Hey! I just noticed, another Seattleite! Seriously, what's with the NW invasion? Am I the only person noticing this?

It's not a bad thing. Just noticing.

I own a T2i. I love it. I would not buy it for documentary work (I figured I might as well say something on-topic)
