So we have a two camera setup (a VG10 and a 7D). The VG10 has a Merlin pretty much permanently attached to it. The 7D comes with a couple of tripods, a slider, a shoulder rig (plus usual bits like a follow focus).
Now we need to add a dolly to this collection. Waddya reckon? Anyone here work with dollies on track.
Some of what we want to shoot will be on flat but rutted terrain so we need track. e.g. a field or a car park with bumps and potholes.
So the only way to get a dolly moving across it will be to use a dolly.
Any recommendations based on personal experience? Any recommendations based on hearsay (please mention 'hearsay' as opposed to experience).
