what do I need for my shitty tripod?

So I got the cheapest possible tripod you could find with the most terrible head... BUT I bought separate panhead which is MUCH better (Velbon PH358 Fluid Panhead), BUT when I wanted to change the heads... The cheap shit tripod does not have ANYTHING but a hole... There is no way I could mount the head to it as the had as the UNC 1/4 thing under http://goo.gl/txzLZ

Does anyone know what do I need to work it?

Hmm, what if you just sold both items, and saved up for a better tripod that comes with a fluid head or can attach whatever head you want? I know it's a pain, but...

Maybe you should save up for a tripod with wheels. That way, you have a tripod and dolly in one. But it's good to have input from others on this too.

I have something similar to that for my Vinten VB tripod. This was my thinking when originally buying it. Works great for easily moving the camera around from setup t osetup. But found even on a smooth surface, its not smooth enough to film with.

H44 told you that you should save up for a tripod with wheels. I told him that it would be cheaper to buy wheels separately.
