My impression is that it's not much different than the dozens of similar platforms who all claim they're "revolutionizing indie film distribution".
They all seem to work fine from a technical standpoint for distribution, but that's also the issue I have with them - the technical process of distribution isn't that big a deal anymore.
The challenge for filmmakers using these platforms is marketing, pure and simple. No one's come up with a silver bullet for promotion and marketing. Honestly, no one will. So I don't think it matters too much which distribution platform you choose - go with the one that gives your audience/customers the best experience balanced with taking the smallest cut of the profits.
After that, it's up to you to make the sales.
