What are some great life lessons?

Sensibility: Don't sh!t, p!ss, or spit where you sleep.
Personal Management: If it hurts - QUIT IT!
You: You ain't special. (Okay. You're a little special.

Diet: If the first bite tastes bad odds are the next few bites aren't going to be any better.
Humanity: Guys are mean and girls are crazy.
Government: People deserve the government they elect or tolerate.
Ethics: People are generally nice but lazy. (And often just plain stupid.)
Peace: You can't make verybody happy. (But if mama isn't happy - ain't NOBODY gonna be happy.)
Work: F#ck it! Do it yourself!

From a small child's perspective: Mama & Daddy ARE always going to make "it" better or right.

From an adult child's perspective, Part 1: Great. Just when I get my little kids outta diapers Mom & Dad are going into them. FML.

From an adult child's perspective, Part 2: Sh!t! There's no right or wrong to raise your kids. There's twenty possible answers to any given problem, and there's at least four ongoing problems at any given time. Maybe I should revise my previous perceptions of Mom & Dad "Doing the best that they can" because I'M "Doing the best that I can!" and no one's effing happy!
