website for indie songs???

Hi there,

I remember someone once talking about a website where indie bands posts their music at a website so they can be used in films to promote themselves for free or for a small fee. Can anyone validate this or know of any similar website?

Do you have a page on soundclick? You can upload your stuff there in under any genre, and it's free. You can pay a fee if you need to upload bigger files.

I've got a couple film jobs from it.

Archive.org has a truly incredible library of free/public domain/creative commons - licensed music available to download.

This is where I get most of my music.

You can literally spend days looking through all the categories of tunes.
