A café in New York joins two men. Gus, flown in from Chicago, awaits the order from a nearby payphone to kill Alphie or let him live. With nowhere to go and nothing to do, they are in a standoff that turns minutes to hours. As today becomes tomorrow, the two find themselves discussing life, society, food -- and a secret from the past that comes crashing down.
This new drama from the award-winning video production team of Eric Lindstrom and Kevin Hicks, and White Lightning Productions, will begin production in Ithaca, NY in April 2005. Set in Buffalo, NY, we find ourselves in an all-nighter as Gus and Alphie learn about each other and how they entered, and subsequently, exited "the life."
Casting is now complete, the set is being built, the crew is in place. We are now counting the weeks until we shoot our first scenes.
