Hey guys,

We had a little talk last time about video games stepping sometimes on cinema territory.


Look at what Quantic Dream did with their new game engine which focuses on face details and expressions.

I always thought that if I had any bit of knowledge about animation, I wouldn't bother with a camera...

Very impressive! Still a little uncanny valley-ish, but that's not inappropriate to the short. Very cool stuff!
 
This is awesome.
In fact, in a perfect world, this is exactly what I would love to do.
Just imagine being able to choose whatever "camera" and "lens" you want and then being limited only by the size of your server farm?

What's really awesome about that vid is that it's all real-time...
