Video Editing Software

What video editing software would you recommend?
I have downloaded trial versions of a few, and so far I'm liking Sony Vegas and Corel VideoStudio the best.
I don't have an unlimited budget, so something along the lines of $100 or less is preferable.

Sony Vegas Movie Studio will fit your budget.

I hope you are not using Windows Vista. It is a bugged operating system with video files. It locks up and freezes Windows Explorer, which leads to issues with Vegas.
