So SpidVid allows you to post the details of your script, select what type of help you need, and then receive bids on your project for people to provide their assistance. The project can then be distributed with or without ads to earn either money or exposure. Then you can rate your crew/cast members to let others know how well they did. You also get a creator rating based on the amount of views/revenue that your project generates. The only real benefit I can think of for using craigslist over SpidVid is that people who are interested in helping are relatively close so communication and working together would be easier when hiring actors and crew members who absolutely need to be on set (does the editor need to be on set necessarily or would a copy of the script with the needed effects and an open line of communication be enough?). What do you guys think?
