Trying to get ONE movie Idea togeather.

Me and my freind are trying to set a date to go to the library to find an idea for our first film...

we both have an Idea for a horror movie that takes place in the woods about some teens that
get lost and of course they all get dead. We both have two radically different ideas he wants to go supernatural

I want to go old school with a twist since mine has a smart plot involving a corporation that has an underground facility where theye making meth and junk in the woods and they have traps and gurads dressed up as classic horror movie type killers that kill them off one by one.

The thing is that I still have this An-creationist fansy movie thay I am trying to get a treatment for, but I cant seem to find a great way to begin the story. I also grounded it heavily in reality.

I planned to shoot the fantasy movies whole first act at a college and then the rest with locations in the forest and A bit of blue screen and some miniature dioramas as backgrounds that will be shot outside and then composited.

To be honest I like the fantasy better than the horror because I need a way to make the plot do a 180...

Sounds oddly familiar. By any chance, are these teens staying in a cabin? And is it in the woods? :weird:

No its not a cabin just the van they are in and the ruins and junk they find.

I don't really feel like doing horror, I'd ratther do the Anti-Creationist Fantasy movie. It has more humor
and is more light hearted like stardust but more grounded, and oddball. and pop-cultury... Plus I get to play around with some miniature effects.

I once did some test shots with a VHSC camera five years ago with a ship underwater, they looked very realistic. even though the model and tank/set cost very little money. Lost the tape though... got mouldy damaged from humidity.. :(

as long as the merman gets more screentime i'd watch it :D

@raymond - you could your classic cheesy horror plot with a twist at the end similar to that Identity with John Cusack?
