watch Trunk- Short Film

Trunk

(Currently being rescored and re-edited, new version will be uploaded soon)

A short horror film shot with a Sony HVR-V1E and Letus35 Extreme Adapter and two lenses in use; 28mm and 50mm Nikons.

Also used the Glideshot dolly track and Proam DVC250 Camera Crane however, the dolly and crane shots were shaky because the camera is too heavy for the tripod on the dolly and the weights are not balanced properly on the crane.

I was hooked. I like creepy films...I thought it was good - the sound, music (even if its the traditional spook music in many spooky films) was good and the acting was good.
I saw what you meant about the shakiness of the camera - I noticed that in the opening shot. I actually didn't like the opening shot looking down at the car because there was something not scary about that opening shot. I guess because it was a shot (with spooky music to tell me something wasn't right) was just a car.
I wasn't sure about the lighting - I know shadows are good in this type of film but I think more light (not too much but maybe something to represent the moonlight or something) - for me there were too many dark shadows from lack of lighting...

I liked the opening credits too...the creepy music to coincide with the name of the company...that was nice.
