trouble with footage from sony pmw-ex1

hey guys
i got a lend of my friends sony pmw-ex1. it looks so awesome and i shot a bunch of stuffs on it. he said it was easy to take footage off the camera coz its a hard drive camera. i took all my footage off but final cut (or any program on my laptop fror that matter) can't view it. what kind of program do i need to edit the footage. i have access to final cut express or pro on a macbook running tiger.

I think you need to install Sony's Log and Transfer Plugin.
