Tripod for Canon XH-A1?

That's more than suitable. It will support up to 22lbs. The A1 is nowhere close to that. I have a 116 Manfrotto head and it is a tank, but it glides awesome.

Seriously, unless you're really looking to spend a lot and get a killer tripod, you could probably settle for less.

Honestly the biggest thing I was looking for was the fluid head for nice smooth pans and whatnot, and that appeared to be the cheapest one that had a nice fluid head.

Plus, I also plan on getting a Letus35 extreme in the future, so I want to make sure whatever tripod I get now will be able to support the extra weight from that, and the support system from it, and the lenses.
