watch Trailer for my feature: She Lives Her Life

The story looks potentially interesting. :yes:
The acting might be pretty decent, actually. :)
The camerawork... meh. It's kinda all over the place. :no:

Meh...
Not my cup o' tea.

I think the acting's fine, the script's pacing too slow, camera work is fair, and I don't know what's going on with the audio - sounds artificial or dubbed.
It's the pacing that's killing it for me.
Now, if that slow stuff shakes your tree then you're good.

For me, with that pacing, there needs to be a severely out of place element that forces me to wonder "WTH is going on?! How are these dissimilar things related? Where is this going?"

A gun in a pocket.
A knife in the bar top.
The guy bound and gagged which she removes - and then puts back on, drags her cig, then removes to chat again - then puts back on. Thinks...

Something.

A fiercely independent young woman who may or may not have her ducks in a row.
A subordinate young man who may be a bum or down on his luck.
She's ready.
He's not.
Let's have one MORE drink.

0:21 she's watching a movie, if she's breaking the fourth wall it's not intentional :)
0:51 and 1:16, those are definitely intentional.
