Last April at a Philip Bloom workshop in Miami, a guy walks into the room and introduces himself as Brett Ratner. I didn't know who he was, but it appeared other folks did. In any case, he wished us all well in making movies and other bits of encouragement then told us about a movie he was working on and how much fun he had.

I'm actually looking forward to this movie. Could be fun.

I didn't know what he looked like and wasn't paying attention in the beginning - I asked after. :blush: He was an unannounced event guest.

The cast in this is awesome, so it may suffer from highexpectationitis. (take that, spell check!)

Oh, I wouldn't have any clue what he looks like. But the name is pretty big. I dunno, maybe I just know him cuz I like shitty Blockbusters. :)

I wasn't expecting it and there was no mention he'd be coming by. That may have made the workshop a madhouse if they did, I suppose. I still had to look him up when I got home to make sure it was the same guy I was thinking of from the Rush Hour movies.
