'To Survive' Post Apocalyptic Dramatic Thriller

Just wanted to share with you my newest film 'To Survive' and how you can be a part of it.

To Survive is a dramatic thriller following a group of survivors in lawless post apocalyptic world. It's about hope and not giving up when everything around you is bleak hopeless.

Filming is slated to begin this August over 14 days.

I've also set up a kickstarter page to help offset some of the films costs and that's where you can be part of this project.

If your interested in checking out the campaign, here's the link: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/stephenfolker/to-survive-post-apocalyptic-thriller

You can also follow the movie's progress on Facebook here: http://www.facebook.com/ToSurviveMovie

Thanks so much for taking time to read this.

Looks very interesting. The fact that the actors are so excited about it makes me excited to watch it. There is one thing though that REALLY puts me off on the kickstarter video....the very LOUD hissing. I'm hoping there isn't any hissing in the actual film!

Looks like a nice approach to an ever popular theme.
Just "liked" its FB page. :)

About how long do you expect the film to be?

At the conclusion of your kickstarter campaign I'd be interested in hearing about your experiences with how the campaign alone progressed, what you expected vs. what you observed, and how your next crowdfunding project would be planned.

Thank you.

And that KS video hiss is pretty bad.
Ask around to see if a friendly can possibly filter that out or at least down some.
Good Luck.

Thanks for checking out the campaign Dennis. This hiss will not be in the final film. I will have a professional sound person for the final film who has much better audio equipment than I do. Also a portion of the funds are going toward some additional equipment for the sound person as buying vs. renting ends up being a less expensive option.

Final Film will be approx 80-85 minutes running time.
