Dear Readers:
'Thompsons Lane' is a short film I made for my final year of film school and Advanced Diploma. It is about a dope dealer's journey back to town after an attempt on his life in the middle of nowhere.
It is a beautifully picturesque film, released by the recording project 'Strutting Bird'. Strutting Bird was originally a BandCamp/YouTube platform for Experimental Audio Recordings but has now transformed into a platform for Experimental Recordings of both Video and Audio Mediums.
Strutting Bird also composed the Film Score for the film which adds to the stunning scenery within the film. The story itself is non-linear which combined with the film score adds to its psychedelic/dream-like feel which was intended.
'Thompsons Lane (Short Film)' was inspired by the poetry channel on YouTube 'Thompson Lane poetry', where myself and another writer have been contributing creative writings for the past 3 years.
The 'Thompson Lane poetry' channel is based on the place within this film.

The next project is the audio album 'Thompsons Lane' released by Strutting Bird. This album will feature the film score in full song form plus additional tracks.
