Theo Kamecke Films?

When i was a child living In Alameda (A Naval Town on an island in the San Francisco Bay) I remember watching a NASA film but i couldnt remember the name. For many years I asked people if they remembered it during their school years of the early 1970s and the few that did could not remember the name of the film.

Well Tonight for the first time I viewed the film on NASA Cable Network on TV and the name of the director was Theo Kamecke. I didnt catch the credit of the Narrator but this movie was almost exactly as I remembered it. Only problem is the stupid cable onscreen guide didnt say the name of the documentary about Appolo 11 Mission.

Watching this is very surreal. I almost feel like im on LSD because of the music and the way its pieced together with small sound bites of political opinions and global events. it shows scenes of forrest and ocean life then they take you to the first luner walk.

very strange to watch since I always remember things from the 70s like when I was a child. The 70s to me seemed like One big Giant children show or cartoon. Whenever I see stuff like this or old Banana Split episodes or HR Puff n Stuff i still have flashback emotions. I figure that its because it was from my childhood year but I often find my children like 70s shows on Nick at Night over modern cartoons. They like old Scooby Doo episodes more then little bill or dora the explorer.

Anyways does anyone know this show by Thero Kamecke so i can either find it on the internet or at my local library?

PS.. as a side not and not related the USS Hornet that picked up the applo 11 is station in my home town of Alameda as a mare time museum.

I want to visit it now and video tape it. Maybe i'll make wmv files and show it to you guys.
