Hello All

This is both our first post on this forum and our first short, amateur, zero budget film.
Keep in mind that we are fairly inexperienced and only make films as a hobby.

as each vies for survival on an abandoned farm.​
 
Welcome to IndieTalk.

1) Is the footage in the opening in the public domain?
2) The man speaking on the radio sounded a bit young.
3) Some more action or more subtle music would really help improve this. Dramatic music for such "normal" shots seems... off.
4) The audio is weak.
5) It's not attention grabbing, which is what a trailer should do. A trailer is, or should be an attention grabbing advertisement.

Anyway, solid first effort. This looks cool, and I look forward to seeing it. Nice work! There are some really great elements (story, grading, tone) :)
 
I agree with chimp. The trailer should grab the viewer and have them wanting more. It does seem like you guys put a lot of effort into this though. Costume design looked nice!
