Hey Everyone,
I wanted to invite you all to submit to the Emerging Filmmakers Forum Winter 2013 screening.
The EFF is a screening event and forum for independent filmmakers all over the World looking to better their storytelling crafts while connecting with industry professionals.
There's no submission FEE, so there's nothing to lose!
Personally, I think submitting projects still in post-production is a more valuable approach for this type of screening event. (Mainly because if your film is picked, it screens at The Aidikoff Screening Room in Beverly Hills, CA which uses top of the line equipment...even 3D ready!!)
Getting a chance to view my last short film, Night on the Lam, in an actual screening room before it Premieres next month allowed us to catch some audio hums and color treatment issues that I never noticed on my desktop and cans or even on a high end home entertainment setup... Priceless.
Also, the forum involves in-depth discussions about each project, so real audience interaction and response create an exhilarating and invaluable experience for passionate filmmakers.
I think this is going to be a great new collective of auteurs in Los Angeles and I'm excited to see who else wants to be a part of it...
Check it out and please feel free to state your opinion!
