The Los Angeles Post Production Group's April 21st Meeting at 7pm featuring presentations on RED MX POST & MEDIASILO.
RED fans get ready because we will have the talented and knowledgeable CEO of LIGHTIRON Digital, Michael Cioni, discussing what post production supervisors, editors, and post producers need to consider when dealing with file-based media. This will include an overview of the new MX sensor, a discussion as to how file-based capture should be treated in preparation for today’s existing offline infrastructure (often tape-based) as well as for digital intermediate mastering, and a screening of new RED MX ultra-low light footage.
Then we will be exploring the power of MediaSilo's online collaboration tools with Dan Green. For those using an FTP site or spending big bucks on digital asset management software, you'll want to check this out! With a cost effective MediaSilo account you can handle many of your digital asset management needs in one place: review and approval, collaboration with timeline specific annotations, tag and search your assets, post assets to the Web quickly and easily and much more.
If you can't make it to NAB this will be the next best thing!
As always we will have our amazing raffle, light refreshments and time to network and connect with other folks in the industry.
We kindly request a $5 donation at the door.
The meeting will be held at the Stoner Recreational Center at 1835 Stoner Avenue Los Angeles, CA 90025. The cross street is Missouri Ave. where there is a big parking lot. Street parking is also available.
