Fall Indie Fest, an Independent Music & Film Festival for Texas talent, is now accepting entries for the October 2010 festival. To qualify for FIF, the film’s director and/or producer must hold Texas residency or 100% of the shooting locations must be within the Texas border.
Fall Indie Fest will be releasing the details of the winning prize packages shortly. No category winner will win a cash prize of less than $1,000. Keep checking back to www.fallindiefest.com for the most up to date information!
Film categories include:
- Feature length film - Feature films must have a minimum running time of 50 minutes to qualify in this category. Documentaries and narratives are accepted in this category.
- Short film - For a film to qualify as a Short Film, it must have a running time of no more than 49 minutes, including credits. Live action, documentaries and animated shorts are accepted in this category.
- Music video - A short film, between 3 and 6 minutes, that accompanies a complete piece of original music or song. The video should serve the purpose of marketing the performers and their music.
- Trailer/teaser - To qualify as a trailer/teaser, the film must have a running time of no more than 3 minutes. The video should serve the purpose of marketing the film.
All film and music categories will include an open division and a youth division for students 18 years and under.
