editing Sync N Link/FC7 workflow

Hi,

I`m looking to use Sync N Link for Final Cut 7 on a feature narrative project shooting with two cams (RED MX), and I was wondering what would be the best way to handle the workflow when it comes to keeping the Final Cut project file size under control.

Sync N Link uses the merge clips function when syncing video and audio, which tends to increases the Final Cut project`s file size quicker than using presynced clips.

As the FC7 project will be holding the merged clip data for the syncing, I had been thinking to make a separate project for each of batch of shoot days. (Shoot Day 1 - 25, Shoot Day 26 - 50...)

I would also make separate projects for batches of synced/organized scenes (Scene 1 - 50, 51 - 100).

Does this sound like a good organization workflow when dealing with merged clips? Doing my best to keep each project`s file size under 100MB
