Super 16 and digital/HD camera equipment

Hi,

I'm starting school next month and want to pick up some affordable equipment so as not to be subject to
school restrictions. I am looking for a super 16mm and a digital/hd/dvc cameras. Can someone point me in the
right direction towards some cheap used equipment? Maybe some help with a decent brand, price range, etc. I am slightly familiar with arriflex and atons and sony's and panasonics but there are so many different models its kind of confusing. Any help will be greatly appreciated and highly honored! Thanks again.:D

I think Canon HF 10 Could be one choice. It uses internal flash memory(16GB) and has a slot for mem card too. It isn't the cheapest, but it has HD quality, here are few short videos with that camera by friend of mine:

Though there are some disadvantages, it is very light so it might be an issue. It doesn't have optical viewfinder, it has only got big lcd on the left.

New one costs approximately 800$
