Sugar Wine Bottle

Hey, I have a scene written where a wine bottle needs to be busted over someone's head. This is the mold I plan on using:

I'm using this one because it seems cheaper and easier than some of the other alternatives.

Does anyone know how to use this or if there is a better alternative?

That mold also includes the label and collar... and those just won't look as authentic on camera.

I don't know what other alternatives you've researched, but Rosco's breakaway bottles are ready to use. Yeah, they're about $20/bottle, but at least they're crafted to look real on camera. And that's a pretty comparable price to other brands.
