Submitting a film to LoveFilm

Does anyone know for sure if LoveFilm has a quaility control procedure, when it comes to deciding what films it rents to the public? I'm sure many budding filmmakers would love to have a film available to rent on that site or maybe NetFlix and - yes - i'm aware that the one-off fee offered to filmmakers makes that option less palatable. But the point is, what is to stop me filming a one hour movie of grass growing in my garden - calling it `A gritty, dirty exploration of our planet' - and submitting it to Lovefilm? Surely many would say, `well for starters it would never get accepted!' Really? Have you seen some of the films that LoveFilm is actually renting out to people? Take Black Shuck - a film generating reviews that are so eye-wateringly bad it could well become a cult classic and good luck to the guy that filmed it! BUT once the public find out that there is no quality control system in place at these rental firms...and that the reviews can be doctored...well if I was a budding filmmaker, I'd be concerned. It just makes a mockery of the whole rental industry.
