Studio Sound Design | Sound FX Collection

The Studio Sound Collection was created for the artist by the artist. We have done work for major feature films, commercials and video games. The collection was created in hopes that artists that are on a budget could get production quality sounds. With over 500 real production used sounds to choose its got something to offer everyone. You are not going to want to miss out!

"Sounds" great!

I would suggest posting a few samples on your site, if possible, but the promo video out a good foot forward. We run a sound studio and are putting together a feature this year - bookmarked your site and will most certainly buy a copy in a few months time.

Thanks!

Thanks Jumper, we had another sample page, during our redesign we are still throwing all the original content onto the site. We will have some a few more samples coming! We'd also love to see the feature when its finished.

What samplerate/bit depth do you record this at? I can't tell from the sample..

I know of a website that sells over 2,000 sounds for 50$... 96K 24BIT.

Our sounds are delivered at 96k @ 32Bit. Although, the 500 sounds are all production used sounds. The sounds that are provided aren't your average, dog barks, foot steps, etc. These are the sounds that are hard to find on the internet for free, or a low price. 2,000 sounds is great, but how many of those are gonna actually help you in your production? We never try to rag on other websites, I am just explaining what the collection is meant for. We appreciate all the sound collections on the internet and everyone that has a passion for sound.

Studio Sound Design is having a huge half of sale! We are offering the collection for 45.00. Sale will end July 19th. You aren't going to get a chance like this again! Don't miss out!

Hmm.

The site I am referring to is a site run by a well known sound designer of film and TV. He records his own sounds in his own studio and outdoors in the field and releases them as their own boutique sound effects library with over 2,000 sounds per collection (he has a series for Seal vocals for instance. And one entirely devoted to wooshes.)

It helps because it gives many variations and the original raw elements for me to then mix and make my own signature sound effects from it using a DAW.

I'm unsure how you arrive at 32bit. But that's another matter.

Can you explain why your sounds are hard to find or what is so special about them?

From your review it seems like it would be hard to incorporate them into any of my own productions because they are already mixed elements (for instance, what if I wanted to low woosh sound isolated from a high bell sound? Since it's a mix, I couldn't do that.)

Oh, you are referring to Hiss & Roar, they do some inspiring work. Whats the difference between our sounds and his? Its obvious, he provides, very organic, raw sounds. That can be mixed, as you were saying. Our sounds, although, most may be premixed, they are created for film makers that need to focus on other aspects of their movie, rather than spending a large amount of money & time on audio. As we have said these sounds have been used in feature productions. Our sounds can be used in your videos straight away, As can Hiss & Roar's although, you may have to mix sounds to get the desired impact, etc. When ours are ready to throw in, if you want a gushing stab, or a dynamite explosion, you can grab it straight from our collection.

Oh, I should have explained a little more clearly, referring to 32bit audio, we've created an in house plugin for our pipeline, so that audio db can be bumped up significantly without getting extra noise, or ruining the sound clip.
