Note: This movie happens in a fictional land/world
Story:
The king of the land has great news: The queen, his wife, is to give birth to a child soon. Everyone is happy about this, except the Army Leader, the king's most trusted general. He long wanted to remove the king and put his own son(29 years old) on the throne. He convinces the Court's Sorcerer to work with him.
And so it happens that when the future king is born, they kill the queen and steal the baby. Then, they lie to everyone, saying both the queen and the baby died at birth. The general orders some guards to kill the baby. But they cannot do this! Instead, they give him to a common peasant from a very remote village. That area is filled with thugs and bandits and many people who fight for various reasons, so, as he grows up, the young prince must learn to fight in order to survive.
When he grows up, he becomes a fierce warrior. One day, he finds out the letters that the guards gave to the villager. This makes him very angry and he threatens his father with a dagger. He then leaves, decided to claim the throne. He appears at first as selfish, arrogant and excessively violent. He enters the royal palace, decimates the guards and asks for the crown (his real father died in the meantime). However, the Court's Sorcerer has sent a plague over the land.
The Councilors tell the hero that he must cure the plague, or else he risks being king over a bunch of nothing! He reluctantly agrees to go on a quest to cure his future subjects. He must find a magical fountain whose water has the power to heal all diseases. But its location is unknown. The hero must find four pieces of a map. He stumbles upon a vampire's cave and, after a fight, enlists his help.
This quest leads him to various locations(desert, jungle, Northern lands, etc.). There, he must help various people and local leaders in exchange for map pieces. He will fight various human warriors and monsters. He learns that he needs to care about the others and he slowly changes on the inside. After the four pieces are reunited, the hero must travel " where no human has ever set foot", in a remote and dangerous land, filled with supernatural creatures and surreal landscapes. He must breach a high-tech fortress and fight to secure it and get water from that fountain.
He returns home, where he fights and kills the evil general. But the Court's Sorcerer won't give up so easily. He plans to resurrect a group of ancient warriors known as " The Heroes". The vampire tells him that he lived when those so-called heroes were alive. They were only named Heroes because they fought the country's enemies and saved it from all invaders. Except that, they were real monsters. They drank blood and ate children. One of them was a king. Such cruel was he as a ruler, that an entire river was formed from his subject's tears. One of the heroes killed the vampire's family.
The main character attempts to fight the sorcerer, but fails, when he cowardly teleports. The main character goes to the Ancient Tomb of the Heroes. In a race against time, he fights the demons that found a home there and overcomes the myriad of traps and reaches its destination too late. The heroes are resurrected. With the vampire's help, he fights them. It is a tough battle in which all the main character's combat skills are put to the test. He and the vampire manage to defeat the heroes once again.
But the sorcerer casts the disease upon the vampire itself and takes his powers. He is now a vampire-sorcerer. With these powers, he makes all the guards and warriors(including the general) that the main character killed into vampires. So the hero must fight and entire army of vampire warriors before facing the villain. The final battle takes place in the throne room. After a tough battle, the main character destroys the sorcerer and becomes king. But he is now changed and becomes a wise king, well-loved by all his people!
