Still Text Effect

The effect is around 1:20 a little before, how is that achieved? I use Final Cut Pro and would like to embed that in my next video how the text is practically still and stuck in that scene at a particular spot so the guy can actually jump over it.

Final Cut won't be able to do this on its own - you'll also need compositing software like Apple Motion or After Effects, as well as maybe a 3D modelling program. Read up on motion tracking, 3D text and casting 3D shadows.

You could maybe get away without the 3D modeling, but like Chili said, you're gonna need something like After Effects and do some sort of motion tracking/rotoscoping.
