Hello my name is Daniel I wanted to tell you about the brand new Student Filmmakers Showcase. Being presented during Seattle's True Independent Film Festival June 3 through June 12, 2011.

Now accepting films from any filmmaker 16 to 22 years old from around the world in the categories of narrative, documentary, animation, experimental and music video. Final Deadline is February 5th, 2011. To submit your film please visit: www.trueindependent.org/

So not all students are eligible? I just graduated, but am 39 years of age... therefore ineligible even though I have films I made as a student just last year.

I do wish you well with the festival though, I just got really excited seeing a possible outlet for my work - perhaps student is a misleading name for the festival. Youth? Teen? Young Adult?
