I'm currently working on a documentary related to provision of primary health care in the U.S. today. The film is highly politically charged and targeted toward the general public, informing them of choices they have for obtaining cost effective health care if they are willing to act upon it. I've done the body of research and basic story board is being constructed however, I would like to collaborate on the project with an established production company or some graduate film students who would like to see a project made that stirs people to motivate their political representatives to impliment the needed changes in current laws. I'm shooting in DV have the potential "I think" to raise some initial funding to cover some costs. Need donated for use some additional sound, lighting and camera equipment. Also want to collaborate on direction as well as post production. Will probably enter completed project in several film festivals or once some footage is in the can look for finishing funds. This is an important social issue and could be a good experience for recent grads. I can't guarantee any payment on the back end but, if we secure a distribution deal I will share the profits. I'm a fair guy. If your interested, can help put a small crew together with the same financial terms and want to get involved leave me a message telling me how to contact you to explain the project. I'm located on the central coast of California ( near Santa Barbara ) but location shooting could take us anywhere in the continental U.S.. Film is intended to be feature length 50 min or < and is intended for public broad casting, independent film channels and educational distribution. Thanks, SPW [/b]
