The 2006 Spooky Movie Film Festival is open to horror/sci-fi/fantasy filmmakers, celebrating and recognizing features, videos, shorts, and documentaries that showcase achievement and innovation in visual storytelling. We'll also screen your silly fan films, so don't be shy!

If you are a filmmaker and would like to submit an original horror, sci-fi, or fantasy film that has been made after January 1, 2004 for review, please see the information below, and please send them on in!

Submission Guideline:
Entries must be submitted on 1/2" (standard VHS in NTSC format) videocassette or NTSC DVD.
We consider any work longer than 45 minutes to be a “feature.”
Foreign language work must be dubbed or subtitled in English.
In addition to your entry, please enclose any press kits, reviews, or publicity materials.
Eligible features, videos, shorts and documentaries must have been completed after December 31, 2003.
Submission Fees:
The fees for features and shorts are the same; submissions postmarked by the following dates can apply the following entry fees:
$25.00 - First Look (received by August 1
$30.00 - Deadline (September 15)
$35.00 – Last Minute (September 29)
SAVE $10.00 ON SUBMISSIONS!
Friends of “The Spooky Movie” on MySpace can pay the following discounted fees for their shorts or features:
$15.00 - First Look (received by August 1
$20.00 - Deadline (September 15)
$25.00 – Last Minute (September 29)
Filmmaker and/or film or video must be a “MySpace” friend before we receive the application.
