Hello everyone.
I have a Sony DCR-Sr45 Handycam that shoots in SD (High Quality) 720x480. I bought this camera over 5 years ago when I really wanted a camera just to start filming my own little bits of things. Its Hard Disk Drive, and after a while I started to see the draw backs with digital HDD camcorders. I do miss the use of MiniDV tapes, they were a bit more versatile as for importing to a editor.
I bought some pretty cheaper lenses for it. Quantaray 2.0x telephoto and a wide angle same brand.
My main question is being that my camera only shoot a max of 720x480 Standard Def do the use of these lenses really make for a better shot. or any lens for that fact. I been looking to get actual sony lenses for this camera since it is a sony camcorder.
I know that it wont get me a better or higher quality picture but as for this camera, is it kind of pointless to put better lenses?
