sony hdr xr 500e

HI ,

i am new to this thread and its quiet an impressive forum .....i have just brought my sony hdr xr 500e in india
and i am familiar with softwares like final cut pro and premiere pro and after effects ....
i shot some footages with this camera and it has been saved in mpeg ts format ....i cannot import this format in either fcp nor premier nor after effects ......please help me what should i do to import it ...without converting ...and loosing pixels ....
