So I'm a big fan of mc chris. For those not familiar, he was one of the first to do nerd rap, most famous for his Star Wars rap songs (you may have heard Fett's Vette off his first album; it was used in Zack and Miri Make a Porno and pretty much all over the internet before that). Not everyone's cup of tea, but I like it. He just put a new album that is, if possible, even more to my interests than any before. Songs about Ghostsbusters, the Shining, D&D, etc. To promote it, he's having a "creativity contest"...do a remix, make a video or design a t-shirt. If anyone else wants to play, details are here: http://www.mcchris.com/contest This is, incidentally, "remix" in the hip-hop sense of the word, which is a whole new production based on the vocal track (as opposed to on the techno side, where remixes draw more from manipulation of the original instrumentation).
long story (still way too long), here's my entry:

I approached it more as a film score than as an electronica artist, as that I felt the narrative of the song (I'm a sucker for ghost love stories) worked better that way. I do not expect I'll win (because it's so odd), but I'm pretty proud of how it came out. Thought some of you might dig it too (or at least, those with a taste for nerdy rap).
Anyway, just wanted to share it with you guys! Hope some of you like it!
