Slow Motion on Canon 7D

Hello!

I have recently started experimenting with using slow motion on my Canon 7D.

I just did a shoot with some dancers at 60 fps and then created a sequence in FCP7 at 29.97.

I used the speed function on the clip to slow it down and it has a very strong ghost effect still.

Not sure what else to do to make it work smoothly.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

In Premiere Pro it is possible to 'interpret footage'. That way you can tell the computer it shouldn't consider it to be 60 fps, but that it should interpret it as 29,97 fps.
This way you don't have to slow it down on the timeline.

In PPro you can also disable 'frameblending' (which causes ghosting when adjusting speed) on any clip on the timeline.

Too bad I don't know exactly where those functions can be found in FCP7. (Although I do work with FPC sometimes, it's too little to know every detail.)
But maybe my anwser can help your google effort :)
