Setup for shooting ski videos?

I am looking to begin shooting high quality ski videos of some of my friends. I am already very fluent in AE CS5 now I just need something to begin shooting with. I have a budget of $2000 and would like a camera with interchangeable lenses. I am not sure if a DSLR or a Camcorder would be better. Give me a setup for the budget that will do what I need semi-professionally. Thanks!

I saw that camera but that would not allow any budget for lenses or tripods, is the camera worth it. How much of an improvement would it be in a bright white enviroment with fairly high paced action
