Self Promotion

So even though my film was bought by Newmarket and distributed by Artisan. I still have had to promote my film myself, getting a distributor is not the end of the road, especially on the Home Video Market.

As I stated before "Redemption" was marketed as an Urban Action Film, when it is a drama. I would personally be upset if I thought I was renting "Redemption" for some good action. It is a serious drama.

In the last couple of weeks I have been promoting it myself. I am being interviewed for a paper in OHIO, and I have contacted many websites to request that they review the film.

So I wanted to know what you guys think, this is a great exercise for you guys that are making films or thinking about doing it, because we will get immediate results at my expense instead of yours. What are your ideas, who should I contact. Take a look at the film, and give me your thoughts and I will share mine.

Your Trailer looks great.

I'd love to talk to you about the process sometime.

Or do some email correspondence.

Good luck with the release and promoting it.

I'll definitely rent it when it hits the shelves...
