Hello!

I wanted to share with you all a pretty cool website where I am selling my first feature documentary (https://www.selfpubli.sh/products/lightproductions/blood-sweat-hot-pants/). The website is specifically for indie film makers and digital content creators and it lets them sell their work to their fans using a pay what you want model which is pretty cool.

I've got a big social network, and I'm managing to do quite well with sales of my documentary so far - I wanted to share the site with you all in case it might be of interest to you :)

I just saw that some more indie films have been launched this week including one narrated by Martin Sheen so I'm hopeful the site will be a great success as I think it's a very cool idea! Would love to hear anyones thoughts?

Built it up over the last few years but sharing stories, writing blogs and connecting with fitness peeps, then when I launched the documentary I could share it with big follower numbers. It took time, but was worth it. I find that's part of the battle for indie film makers is having the network to reach out to.

Main stream distributors watched my documentary but sadly declined to help... so I took things into my own hand!! hehe
 
We launched it at the start of Jan, so we are pretty pleased - sales coming through each day. I know the site is looking for new content creators so hoping to share my experience about the site with you guys. :)
 
I would seriously do this if I had a feature in the pipeline, seems like a good place if you want go down the self distribution line. Thanks for sharing I might look into it in the future!
