Scene Breakdown - level of detail?

When I'm breaking down a scene, do I need to flag every scripted occurrence of an element (for example gun shots)? Or, do I flag it ONCE so that it's represented in schedule as a day for the armorer & guns to be on set?

I feel that it's the latter, but I'd love some feedback from someone who knows.

By the way, I'm using Tagger2.

Many Thanks,

I'm not sure if I understood your question exactly. But you need to treat every scene like it's own little world.

For example, you may be planning on shooting scenes 4, 7 and 9 (the one's with guns) all on the same day, but that could easily change when you're putting everything together. Then you could be majorly screwing yourself if you end up shooting scenes 4 and 9 one day, and scene 7 on another, but you left the guns out of your breakdown sheet for scene 7.

Director: "Hey guys. Where's the armorer; we've got guns in this scene."
AD looks at his breakdowns/schedule: "You don't have anything about guns in this scene."

Director: "!#%&&#$!@#$)^"

Imagine I am working in scene 1, and the script mentions BILL'S GUN three times in that single scene. I only need to include Bill's gun once on the breakdown sheet (instead of three times), right?

Tagger only lets me use an element once per scene.
