North Devon-based Artaura Productions is proud to present their latest film, “Rooftops, ChimneyPots & Seagulls”. Shot exclusively in the historic port town of Bideford UK, the drama follows a family of seabirds and their life and death struggle to survive the harshest winter to hit the British shores in decades.
The film will be distributed to the international festival circuit and is available for screenings.
Director Matt Biggs said: “I was touched by the drama unfolding before me and felt this was a unique opportunity to film the survival of this family. I couldn’t help but think about similar human struggles, which occur every day. This is why I can’t consider this a natural history film… but a drama in its own right.”
Musician Danny Cross, who scored the film’s original soundtrack, said: “It’s been a joy to work on this project with Matt. As the film is completely free of dialogue, my role has been to create music which enhances the drama and emotion of the piece – a dream for any composer!”
