Robotic Super Soldiers -- The Real McCoys

I've been doing research into AI, for my project, and my problem is that AI, even now, is so limited. No program, for example, can play the board game GO properly. The other problem is that the changing nature of war - in WWII, we used tanks, but, now, we use drones. If the future war changes, those terminators would be junk.

These issues, of course, would make for a good sci-fi movie. :)

The big leap in AI is expected in another 10 years when there are more advances in quantum computers. Right now, they are in the molecular adding machine phase. But, that's how the first generation computers started out as well.

I do agree with a friend of mine who says the best panic button in the world to put into AI super soldiers is scruples. This way they can see through the faults of their human makers to do the right thing.

If you have watched Dr. Kaku's videos on AI and quantum computers, he strongly suggest putting panic buttons into AI beings.

In the movie THE MACHINE 2014, the benefits of building an AI android with scruples was presented in a great story.
