editing reducing wind in post

any good way to do this? The wind is very low, yet noticeable. If it can't be done, I'll have to do more ADR, but I'd like to avoid that, with at least one hard to get ahold of actor

It depends on the nature of the wind and how it's affected the dialogue. Sometimes a high pass filter (HPF) can get rid of the worst of it and sometimes some other EQ can help. Pattern matching noise reduction, such as iZotope RX, tends not to be very effective as wind noise is not a consistent pattern. Waves WNS might be more effective in removing the wind noise but Cedar noise reduction is the most likely to be successful. WNS is not too bad at $600 but the Cedar is about four times more expensive again. And, even Cedar might not be very effective, depending on the exact nature of the wind noise.

If a HPF and a bit of playing around with EQ doesn't fix the problem to the standards your require, having your dialogue looked at by a commercial audio post facility is most likely your only alternative to ADR.
